Microscope Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) scanner
We are pleased to announce that we have installed a Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) scanner, CareStream 9000 3D, in our office. This 3D system delivers the highest resolution 3D images in the industry at the lowest radiation dosages.
We are committed to the very best care for your patients. This CBCT technology will help us better treat teeth with more complex root canal anatomy, and will help us to confidently diagnose difficult cases.
Surgical Operating Microscope
Zeiss Microscopes are utilized in all our treatment rooms. The surgical microscope allows excellent vision and allows Dr. Kobeski and Dr. Frutchey to perform root canals with excellent precision and predictability. The dental microscope also offers the following benefits:
- Better visualization. The magnification ability and clear coaxial illumination of the working field addresses the unique or specialized treatment procedures more efficiently and with more accuracy.
- Improved treatment quality. Microscopic techniques are generally superior than traditional treatment concepts.
- Ideal treatment ergonomics. The use of dental microscope allows appropriate working posture and ergonomics which is important in maintaining the dentist’s health and personal well being.
- Fun factor during procedure. Dentists who use a dental microscope find enjoyment during procedures as a result of the ideal working conditions and predictable treatment outcomes. A greater level of satisfaction is brought about by performing procedures assisted by illumination and magnification as dentists recognize greater detail and visualize more root canals and anomalies and treat them with precision.
The dental microscope not only helps dentists in root canal treatments and other procedures that require microscopic techniques, but it also improves the quality of treatment given to patients. Dentists are encouraged to review and perfect their treatment solutions resulting in a positive impact in one’s dental practice.
Carestream Digital Radiography allows our office to take the highest quality image with less radiation than standard x-ray films. This serves as a highly effective aid throughout the diagnosis, treatment and treatment planning process. Images are available instantly, eliminating the wait and if an image needs to be retaken, it can be done immediately. The ability to magnify areas of concern, apply image enhancements to reveal further details and enter annotations further support diagnostic capabilities.
